Landscaping covers the design, planning, creation and maintenance of designed landscapes, both urban and rural, and the interiors of buildings. The industry offers a huge range of opportunities for anyone of any age.
Businesses vary enormously, so you could find yourself working in areas as diverse as hard, soft and interior landscaping, sports turf and golf greenkeeping, private, heritage and botanic gardens, commercial grounds, public parks and green spaces. The landscaping industry contributes £3 billion to the UK economy.
