Volunteering
Volunteering is a great way to get to know the highs and lows of a job. It gives you the opportunity to see how the job develops over a long-term period and whether it's something that you could see yourself sticking at! Rather than a brief taste of a job, you get to see projects or situations from start to finish.
Many organisations are really pleased to have volunteers working with them. It's an ideal way to help them while you're helping yourself to valuable experience.
